Everything was perfect for the price. Easy to find and the Host is very helpful

It’s pretty near where the vehicle from Kigali dropped me off. There are a few supermarkets nearby, Walter, the owner, was very communicative and quick to respond to my queries. He also provided advice and options on getting to Kampala and for me to stop en route at Kayabwe. He also helped to find a shuttle for me to ride to Kampala. I’m so happy that I booked this apartment and met Walter

Apartment is on the third floor (for those familiar with the British system) and there’s no lift (I know it’s not the owner’s fault that the building doesn’t have a lift). A dustbin and a kettle would have been a great addition.

Disappointing and Misleading Stay While the owner was responsive and Jackie, the receptionist, was very polite and helpful and the place is very central and that was the main reason for booking this place, the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to misleading and false information on the listing. There is no actual apartment—what’s offered is a bare room with an attached toilet, more like a very basic studio. There was no mosquito net, no mirror, no cupboard or coat hangers, no kitchen, no seating area, and no furniture on the balcony no gardenview ( would be interesting to know where was the garden view in such an old multi story building). It was shocking to see such a level of misrepresentation. On the time of checking, I've asked for another room, and I was informed it's $22, despite the fact it was $17 on the website. The building is an old residential complex with no other travellers around, and no common or sitting area. I couldn’t sleep the first night because of the number of mosquitoes in the room—constantly buzzing around my ears. For such a basic room, the price was far too high. On the second night at 9 PM, the owner offered me an alternative room and one free night, but I had already booked another place for the following two nights, so I declined. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for comfort.During my one and a half months of traveling around Uganda, I stayed in many lovely accommodations for the same price—and breakfast was even included.

Most of the description of the place was false and misleading. It is absolutely disgusting that in his comments, he ignored all the facts and still call a bare room with attached bathroom as an apartment. On the second nights he apologised for all his lies and misleading ( see the attached) but still had a gutts to continue denying and lying. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing to learn how much a person can lie.
