Such a fabulous experience. The proprietors have lovingly refreshed a beautiful Showa-era ryokan and modernised it with Saunas, local woods and textiles. Wonderful attention to detail. Fantastic breakfast with local treats. Loved our stay. And Oga is such an interesting little town. Highly recommend!
Would have been great to be able to check in as soon as we arrived (about 40mins early) but we did get to experience the very cool cafe across the road, which was a bonus.
