Sunset Waters 10 & Free Buggy - Hamilton Island

The set up was self contained, everything was easy to find. I loved that it had its own buggy. House was clean and included most things needed. It was easy for the teens to have their own space and do their own thing. Location was out of the way, not great for walking, but perfect for quiet. Service from the phone number on the keyring was great, they called back after hours and didn't make me wait when we had a buggy problem.

Little things that aren't really a "don't like" but more minor inconvenience. The buggy wasn't set up properly when we arrived but we were told it was flat and plug it in. We walked everywhere that day which was too much with the hills. I gave up and rang the number on the keyring that night and left a message. Luckily someone called back and we were able to go for dinner. Washing line had no pegs, simply bought some and left them in laundry cupboard. Although pantry was there and full kitchen facilities, there was no coffee, not even a sachet. Would have liked a map in one of the drawers/cupboards. The downstairs air conditioner didn't seem to work, kept turning itself off even though I had everything closed. We just left the doors and windows open for ventilation but don't think that would work in summer.

Buggy going missing on first night

Having heard so much about Hamilton Island it did not disappoint. It is truly a magical heaven like experience. Sunset water’s catapults you into the canopy of trees with the wilderness wildlife at your fingertips. The balcony gives another dynamic of the apartment inside and outside living and private!! Perfectly aligned for cooking you have all the tools and is well kitted out. The buggy is a bonus! Chris the man who can is personable great communication makes your stay seemless. Can’t wait to return. Thank you sunset !!

The property is just ok, it’s a bit old and tired (some wd40 on the doors would help) limited views, no pool, all accom on hammo is expensive so you get what you pay for, better than staying at the reef, but don’t expect too much
