J’ai bien aimé le fait que ça soit en bord de mer, dans du 5 étoiles avec un appartement quand même épuré et design.

J’ai eu un problème avec la climatisation que j’aurais aimé ne pas avoir car j’ai du faire appel à un technicien à une heure tardive pour réparer la climatisation. J’aurais aussi aimé pouvoir payer par carte direct à la réception plutôt que en cash ou par virement bancaire (où il y a eu un problème résolu après 1 semaine) Et une ou deux bouteilles d’eau dans le frigo pour l’arrivée ne sont pas de refus.

View of the sea from the balcony was refreshing. Spacious room, with ample chairs. There is free WiFi from the hotel too - no password. The washing machine and dryer was greatly appreciated, considering that we stayed for 6 nights. Facilities were great, though we didn't get to use the pools or walk to the beach because of an incoming typhoon. Security was reassuring. Note that check in instructions wasn't given via booking.com, so please have data so you can contact the host upon arrival and someone will bring you to the apartment. Don't approach the receptionists....unless you want a free welcome drink. ;P

The musty, perhaps mouldy smell from day 1 was really strong, and was present till day 5. The smell completely disappeared on days 6 and 7. What we found was that it wasn't the air con, it wasn't the location and it sure wasn't because of the rainy and wet climate. It was just caused by sheets not dried properly. I understand that the owner did tell me not to book his/her apartment if I am sensitive to smell, but the fact that the smell disappeared after we aired the apartment for a few days and, washed and dried the towels means that the musty smell won't exist if you dry your bedsheets & towels completely. The musty smell wasn't because of location or climate - it was due to poor housekeeping skills. My main reason in writing this is so if any future tourists see this - they know how to remove the musty smell themselves. Secondly, blackouts happens occasionally. The contact person will teach you how to resolve it easily, not a big issue. The fact that he could smoothly provide an effective solution once he heard we had a blackout shows that this is a common thing. So keep a torch with you, or a phone with torch near you for convenience.

L appartement est situé dans une résidence 5 étoiles. Les piscines, la plage privé et le service sont exceptionnels. La vue mer depuis l appartement est très belle. L appartement est moderne et propre.

Un peu éloigné de la vieille ville, il faudra prendre le taxi pour vous y rendre. Ceci dit cela permet de se ressourcer loin de l agitation du centre-ville.

We rated this lower because the service did not match the "Luxury" description. The experience felt like renting a flat from a distant landlord. Unfortunately there was zero sense of hospitality. Communication was purely reactive. We often had to chase for information. There were also several maintenance details that ideally should be checked before guests arrive (one bed was squeaky, incompatible induction pans, no cups in the kitchen, etc.). Some things listed on booking.com were not provided. With more proactive management and a warmer approach to communication, this could be a 10/10 stay. Currently, it feels extremely transactional.
