Location is great, apartment is clean, interaction with the host was spot on.

As others stated, AC was much needed (for our visit in August).

The apartment on 3. floor is beautiful and spacious, just like in pictures. It has oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, vacuum... everything you need. You can enjoy brekkie at your own balcony and watch the sea and surroundings waking up. Marcos is a truly amazing host, very responsive and kind. He brought us a fan as the apt was hot. The location adjacent to large mall has pros and cons, supermarket, restaurants, pharmcy, bus stop to/from airport etc. are very close, but the mall area is also very busy, restless and loud.

The cons of the location are the busy road, Estrada Monumental and the motorbike parking right underneath your balcony. I really would've liked to give this apt a 10, but there's a lot of very loud traffic/noise all the time. It was a hot week so we had to keep balcony doors open 24/7, which meant we heard all noises, day and night. The apartment was also hot as there is no AC. Marcos brought us a fan, but it was not enough to keep the bedroom cool. You have to listen to bikers revving late in the night and children screaming in the play area at the mall during the day. If you are used to living in a very noisy environment you will love this place and its central location, but if you are like me who prefers silent and cool nights, this is not the best place for you. Also, be aware of the door stop at the bathroom, it is right in front of the toilet bowl and I kicked it several times during the week and almost broke a toe.
