Great overall
The house overall is beautiful and spacious. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the character of the property and would recommend this property to other potential bookers.
Whilst the overall experience was very good, there are a few factors which would have improved our stay: - The directions given to finding the property were unclear and it took us a while to locate the correct road and entrance. With hindsight pictures or an annotated image of the map would have been helpful. - The key left in the lockbox was the incorrect key to the house. We discovered after some trial and error that the correct key was, in fact, slotted into the door to the dining room. - The guest using the downstairs single bedroom said that it was not as clean as she hoped. The upstairs main bathroom shower had slow drainage and may have been blocked, and the toilet in one of the en-suite bathrooms had flushing issues. - The kitchen was very well stocked with tableware and appliances, but the stove had one hob that would not turn on and only one of the two ovens were able to reach desired temperature to heat food. This meant that cooking for 11 people was a slower process.
