The studio is small but so thoughtfully arranged and equipped that we felt comfortable and not missing anything. The host was exceptionally nice and always helpful. There were all essential kitchen appliances and more : delicious olive oil, wine, cookies were also waiting for us. We arrived very late at night and the lovely host was waiting for us. The terrace and the view are fantastic. The area is very quiet but the a small village with tavernas and shops is about 1 mile away. We had great, peaceful holiday there.

The first time the direct beach access is a challenge because you need to wear full feet cover shoes to step on lava hot sand dunes before you reach the sea but it is manageable and the beach and sea are beautiful and not many people there. The same beach can be easily accessed by walking 10min to its end or driving there for 2min.

Der Ausblick auf das Meer und die Berge und die Natur rundherum sind unfassbar schön. Die kleine Pfad direkt von der Terrasse runter zum Strand ist toll und der Weg vom Haus zum nächsten Ort dadurch jedes Mal ein Event. Wir wurden liebevoll mit lokalen Leckereien empfangen und da das Wetter Mitte März nicht immer prickelnd war hatten wir warme Decken und Kerzen bestellt und alles liebevoll vorbereitet. Die Ferienwohnung ist klein aber mir wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Schöne an der Südküste Kretas ist, dass es hier noch nicht so touristisch ist wie an der Nord-West Küste. Uns hat das besonders gut gefallen.

Wenn man, wir wir, aufgrund des Wetters, drinnen in der Wohnung sein muss, dann trägt das grelle Licht der Energiesparleuchten nicht zum Wohlbefinden bei.Aber das war wirklich das Einzige, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

I don't even know where to begin. It was a very warm welcome from the father of the woman I'd previously contacted through booking.com. He showed me around and explained everything, and there were some lovely welcome gifts waiting for me: pastries, fruit, and wine. The access road to the apartment is a bit bumpy, but easily manageable even with a regular rental car. The property is gated, and a friendly guard dog keeps watch both day and night. The apartment itself is a bit smaller than it appears in the booking.com photos, but it's perfect for me. The electrical system is very modern, with emergency lighting in case of a power outage (which happened briefly during a thunderstorm, and it worked immediately), fast Wi-Fi, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a great-working double stock refrigerator. The biggest plus, of course, is the wonderful terrace with direct access to the sea. However, getting there requires navigating a steep staircase and a final stretch with a rope. In the evenings, the terrace is absolutely peaceful—no road noise, no annoying light pollution, just the starry sky—simply magnificent. I'd like to send warm greetings to my neighbor who's staying right next door for the winter. :-) He helped me out twice, thank you so much! I'm planning to come back. Best regards :-)

Amazing location, private terrace overlooking the sea with direct access via a steep slope. We had the entire beach to ourselves for our morning swim before breakfast (off season). Spiros welcome was very kind, especially the gifts from his homegrown garden.
