Carmen de los Moriscos - Alhambra views

An incredible house with beautiful views of Alhambra, Granada and the Sierra Nevada moutains. Miguel is a very warm and welcoming host, and was very reliable. He even came to see us off at 3am when we left. The house was super clean and so comfortable, with all the amenities anyone could ever need, including tea/coffee, laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash etc. We especially enjoyed the garden and also the rooftop terrace - funnily enough, the villa is actually right in front of the mirador de San Nicolas (a scenic Alhambra viewpoint that all the tourists go to, especially at sunset), whereas we had our own private viewpoint! The swimming pool looked so inviting, although unfortunately it was too cold to swim (not that that stopped us from trying!). Location was perfect with a bus stop right outside to take you direct to the city centre and Alhambra. The area was also wonderful, with restaurants and a supermarket a few minutes walk away. It was also very quiet at night, perfect for light sleepers such as myself. The beds were comfy and had a plethora of pillows to choose from depending on preference.

There was honestly nothing not to like. The place was wonderful.

This villa is absolutely stunning! The views are amazing! The location is perfect for walking around the Albaicin, and a short bus ride (bus/van stops right outside) down to downtown Granada. The house has everything you need. The rooftop terrace has first class views of the Alhambra. Miguel was such a gracious host. He met us when we arrived and helped me park our rental car in the garage. He provided us all kinds of recommendations that made our stay more enjoyable, and checked on us via messages to ensure we had everything we needed. He then met us before we left to ask how our stay was and how our trip to Granada was in general. I highly recommend staying at this villa if you're coming to Granada! Gracias Miguel!

Absolutely amazing property. Perfect location and feels like a real home. It has beautiful nooks and details throughout. The roof deck view is breathtaking. The location is also great - plenty of shops and restaurants along winding walking paths within a few minutes. The host was also incredibly warm - felt like we were renting from a family member. One of the best properties I have ever rented.

Our host, Miguel was super easy to communicate with even before we arrived. He allowed us to store our bags before check in time and is very sweet, friendly and interesting. He met us at the gate and welcomed us into his beautiful home, showed us all around and explained how everything works, helped us with directions and told us he’d always be available if we needed him. The house and gardens are gorgeous, with unbeatable views of The Alhambra. It exceeded our expectations which were already high. We loved it there! Easy walk to everything we wanted to see and the bus stop is right in front of/above the house. The house is below the street so it’s very quiet. I had a very scary incident, I lost my passport, and Miguel was right there, willing to help me with my problem. He is an angel, made me feel very secure while going through a scary few hours. I got my passport back at the police station, the locals are very friendly and I was lucky! We loved our stay there and didn’t want to leave!!
