Cascais Sun Terrace Casino Estoril Apartment

It was a large spacious apartment with plenty of light in a good location within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and supermarkets. The kitchen was a reasonable size, the bedrooms were comfortable and the electric shutters on the windows and between the living room and second bedroom were a good idea. The huge balcony (more like a terrace) was nice to sit out in. As we were there two weeks the cleaners came mid-stay without charge (whilst we were out) and did a good job(towels and sheets changed, thorough cleaning, etc).

Several gripes :lack of power points especially in the kitchen. The under bed drawers in the main bedroom had protruding handles so easy to scratch your leg. The dated door handles (a bit difficult to turn) and the old fashioned Yale lock should be changed-the bathroom door handle came loose whilst we were there but it was repaired quickly. The biggest gripe was the lack of air conditioning. I feel that a holiday apartment in a hot country like Portugal should have air conditioning as standard. We paid a fairly premium price but it just lacked that quality feel.

Spacieux, grande terrasse, parking

La terrasse bien que très grande est très mal entretenue et équipée avec du mobilier hors d'usage, c'est très dommage Pas de vraie porte pour la deuxième chambre, uniquement un volet roulant ce qui n'est pas du tout pratique ou discret

Good location

The second bedroom had a roll down shutter door - not at all suitable for couples or a family. Very hot - no air conditioning - but not enough fans to compensate for this. Two for the whole apartment. Cheap furniture with metal sticking out of the main double bed.
