Portuguese Cliffside

Well furnished and comfortable apartment. Beds very comfortable, which sometimes in these apartments they are very hard. Linen provided was more than adequate and excellent quality. Pool was a good size (inc childrens' pool) with plenty of space for sun loungers. Beach close by (about 10 mins walk) with beachside restaurant and lively bar/restaurant at the top of the cliff alongside Senhora da Rocha chapel, which is a tourist attraction and wedding venue. Local supermarket within walking distance and lots of bars/restaurants within walking distance as well as the main town Armacao de Pera which offers the usual Alargarvian bars/shops/restauarants and situated right next to the beach where the more active can take advantage of boat rides, jet skis etc. A very nice part of the Algarve where you can enjoy the sunshine and the facilities and of course the amazing beaches.

From previous stays at this complex the apartments usually had umbrellas for sunloungers poolside as well cool boxes/beach mats/umbrellas etc for taking to the beach. This was lacking and given the location of the complex ie walking distance of the beach it would be highly likely that people would like to spend the day there some times. So it was frustrating that there was nothing provided in the way of cool boxes etc to take drinks/food as well as umbrellas in the very hot months. In fact temperatures reached 34 degrees during my stay at the beginning of June this year.
