This property is very central, and there is a downstairs cupboard to lock bikes in, which was handy. It is not as cute as it looks in the photos, and the picture of a cabin is the view from the window, not the actual apartment which is a bit more studenty. It is fine though, and the price was okay. But the French agent was not great. It would be better not to have a third agent involved, too many people, the landlord, the french agent AND booking.com

This property is advertised as 7 minutes form the station. However there is not a lock box at the property so I had to go to the agent, another local agent, to pick up and drop off the keys, which was a half hour walk in the opposite direction. Too far to take all your luggage with you. On the way I lugged my backpack across town and was exhausted. On leaving I hired a bike for an hour to cycle across town and drop the keys while my daughter looked after the luggage. A bit of a faff. We arrived out of hours so had to get the keys form a post box outside the office. It was 42 degrees and a red alert warning to health and death issued by the French government. I asked if because of this they could provide a fan, as a duty of care. I had to explain myself in French since they did not speak any English. They said they wouldnt have time as they have to contact the landlord and wait it hear back, then buy a fan etc.. I suggested using the phone. In the end the guy was helpful and they did get me a fan, but forgot to leave the sheets, that you have to pay for separately with this agency, and I knew this and had therefore brought out own towels but pain for bedsheets. But there were none when we arrived, so I had to phone an out of hours number. He told me they refund my money! I said this was no good, I had paid for sheets, there was nowhere I could get any at this time, and it was their mistake so they must rectify it. He said « but we got you a fan »!! Not sure why this was relevant. I said we couldn’t sleep without sheets - and he said I was exaggerating! I said that yes, we might be able to sleep a bit, but that wasn’t the point, in. 42 degrees temperature I didnt want to be struggling to sleep on a bed with no sheets. He eventually brought them round, and the welcome pack that they had also forgotten. But it transpired they only brought sheets for one bed, there is a single bed and a sofa bed and I was there with my daughter and needed sheets for bot

Le logement est idéalement situé dans le centre de La Rochelle. Le logement est pratique et bien équipé.

Nous n'avons pas trouvé de stationnement gratuit à proximité.

Superbement bien placé pour profiter de l'ambiance festive du centre ville.

Pas d'isolation sonore. Compliqué pour les travailleurs lorsque les voisins font la fête (porte ouverte).
