Veldig hyggelig vert, fleksibel på å ta oss imot da ferjen ankom midt på natten, noe vi satte stor pris på! Han gjorde det også enkelt for oss å sjekke ut tidlig om morgenen og var kjapp og behjelplig å svare på meldinger under oppholdet. Veldig fint med uteplassen, der satt vi mye! Alt virket veldig nymalt og fresht, men samtidig tydelig at dette var et eldre hus med sjel! Vi var to par, og det var helt supert med to separate soverom og to bad. God beliggenhet det var kort vei å gå til matbutikker, restauranter og busstopp (veldig bra bussystem på Milos!)

Bare småting som kunne vært bedre: Senga på det ene soverommet knirker litt, og senga på det andre rommet kunne kanskje hatt godt av en overmadrass. Men alt i alt var alt veldig fint.

This apartment is in the traditional style, with vernacular architecture, which can be (and was) very charming. The host was a great example of the Greek philoxenia. There is on-street parking that is close by. Because access is only by stairs, the host met us there to help with the luggage. We rented mopeds and had no problems parking, even with the street construction at the foot of the stairs. The house was quiet; the shower had hot water. It is a great two-bedroom property that could even sleep five. I was able to concentrate and work on a research grant proposal there during our stay.

Going back over my receipts for the trip, I hadn't realized how expensive the property was. Only because of that, I will probably look elsewhere for future stays on Milos. The taxi driver didn't know where the property was, and had to call the owner -- even then, there was some confusion, but it worked out in the end. The only place to sit with a table is outside on the porch using the built-in furniture.

The shower drain was clogged so drainage water would rise very quickly. Beds were extremely uncomfortable.
