Robins Perch, Bramhall

The location is in a lovely, quiet, leafy area of Bramhall, just 10 mins in the car from Stockport. This was ideal for us as we were attending a wedding in the centre. The property had everything we needed including a very comfy bed and great shower. We had very clear instructions on how to find the property and were made aware Savita was on hand if we needed anything.

We booked Robins Perch for a week as we were having building / electrical work completed at our new home. The fact that the property was just 4 miles away was a real bonus . Although we didn’t meet Savita the owner as she was away wasn’t an issue as she kept in contact via email and sent over the check in / out details and parking etc. Robins Perch is a large annexe attached to the main house but is fully independent with its own entrance. It is exactly as described and seen in the photos with a small but perfectly functional kitchen with cooker, microwave , kettle , toaster and small half fridge with a freezer box. This was great as it meant we could still cook dinner in the evening . The main area consisted of the most comfortable orthopaedic double bed with fresh white bedding etc so we had a week of the best sleeps as were exhausted from all the trips up and from our own home . The en-suite was roomy and fresh and light and had a great shower with hot water ,together with plenty of fresh white towels and a large useful mirror over the sink . There was an area to store our luggage and hanging rail and hangers for our clothes too. There was a small glass dining table with two chairs so you could have breakfast /dinner or work with a laptop which I did . There is also a comfortable area with a two seater sofa where we could relax and watch tv which again was great . In the early morning or evenings we could look out onto the garden pond as there were huge patios doors and it was very peaceful . In summary Robins nest is a brilliant self contained space with everything you need whether it’s a short break or a home from home which we needed at the time . It’s also a few minutes from Bramhall Park if you want to go for a walk and a five min drive from Bramhall itself.
