We absolutely loved our stay! My husband and & brought our small children (10 months & 2 yr) and parents and all slept very comfortably. The sunrises facing the Mountain View were stunning!! We also watched the meteor shower at night from the porch-perfection! The home is centered around family leisure & convenience with toys/games, baby gates, a pack and play, and more! Wildflowers and nature were still very present during late October. Backroads & Blueridge Parkway travel to Blowing Rock made viewing the foliage easy, plus we got amazing photos— even saw wild turkeys! The host was in contact to make sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. I am very grateful for our weekend getaway. We will certainly be back!Thank you, Ava’s Place.-The Hallmarks

Beautiful Cabin, Very Comfortable and well stocked! The last few miles to get to the cabin were a winding gravel one lane road but we just went slow and we were fine. If you do not have 4WD or AWD in your car then be prepared for a hike to get down to the cabin and back up to your car! That being said it was a great stay in a beautiful home!

This home is so cute! It was clean and the location was beautiful! It had everything and then some to make us feel at home. It is located conveniently to areas such as Blowing Rock, Boone and Lenoir. Please listen to the listing where it is stated to use AWD and 4WD. We have AWD, so we did not have issues, but it is definitely needed. The property and home are peaceful and relaxing. We will book this property again in the future.
