About this house rental
Welcome to Selah! Beautiful new log cabin, with lake access. The cabin sleeps 8; A master with an ensuite bathroom, including a walk in shower; Two bedrooms upstairs; one with a queen and a twin; the other with a queen and a twin bunk overhead. The upstairs bedrooms share a full bath. An additional half bath is in rec room on lower level. Great WIFI reception and rec room complete with 64" flat screen TV, 7' pool table, foosball and game table. The back deck is perfect for that early morning cup of coffee, as you overlook the treetops. Enjoy a relaxing night indoors by the wood-burning fireplace, or by the fire pit outside. Grill out burgers and dogs, and enjoy on picnic table on the back porch.
Perhaps you'd prefer your burgers w/a view.... grab the potato salad and grill out at the numerous picnic spots on the lake at the end of the road. Lake Rhodhiss is the perfect recreational lake, for kayaking, boating, and swimming. Visitors love the peace and quiet of this pristeen lake. Don't worry, you'll get hooked on all that tranquility!
And if your idea of a great day involves taking a challenging hike- head out to nearby nearby South Mountains State Park, and its 80 ft. waterfall! Check in with the visitors center there, and they'll direct you to more than 40 miles of trails; for hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers!
The cabin is conveniently located within minutes of the towns of Hickory, Lenoir, and Morganton. So, whether you are picking up groceries, or catching a movie; enjoying a leisurely dinner out, or hunting for bargains at the many nearby furniture outlets, there's plenty to do nearby! Additionally, the cabin is ideally located for day trips to Charlotte, Asheville, and the Blowing Rock / Boone areas, approximately an hour away.

Great place to stay and rest or to go out and see the area. Enjoyed the pool table and other games with the family. The house was awesome. It was very clean and was enjoyed by all. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a wonderful time. The property was very spacious for everyone to gather together or go off and do their own thing. The girls loved playing pool and exploring the property. Wonderful vacation.
