About this cottage rental

You’ll find Hearthwood Cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac, a stone’s throw away from the river. A peaceful place to relax and unwind, while taking in the views of the majestic mountain, the sounds of the river and the music of the local birdlife. A small home to escape to; it sleeps 2 in a luxurious king bed. The entire home has been very recently renovated; you can look forward to a brand new kitchen and bathroom, as well as a lovely fresh feel throughout the entire home.
There is a new deck on which to enjoy a morning coffee, taking in the view of Mount Victoria. Mount Victoria is a well-known feature of the area, offering bushwalking trails and beautiful views over Warburton and the surrounding Yarra Valley. Mount Donna Buang, a larger mountain nearby, is also prominent in the area.
Warburton is a beautiful town in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, offering a mix of nature, outdoor activities and relaxing spots. Some great things to do include: walk or cycle the Warburton trail, visit Redwood Forest, climb Mount Donna Buang, visit La La falls, have a round of golf at Warburton golf club, walk the Yarra River, explore local cafes and shops, meander through Bruno’s Art and Sculpture Garden, visit Upper Yarra Reservoir Park or relax at a day spa, such as Warburton Sanctuary Healing Centre. Warburton has a little bit of everything: nature, relaxation, and small-town charm.

Guests have sole use of Hearthwood Cottage during their stay, with contactless check in.
Firewood is provided for winter months only, enough to get you started. You can purchase more firewood locally from the hardware store or service station. There is split system heating and cooling to keep you comfortable all year round.

Very cosy cottage with all we needed for a lazy weekend away. Everything was neat and well presented and nothing was hard. Our only criticism is the property is on the lower end of a block connected to another building, which you can hear footsteps thudding throughout the night from the other half of the house. There was no mention of this before we arrived. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
