Welcome to the “Frische Brise” Captain’s House, a unique vacation rental on the Baltic Sea that combines historic charm with modern comforts. This lovingly restored house is part of a historic semi-detached home right on Breeg Harbor and offers the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation with family or friends—or for a workation on Rügen.
The island’s most popular surfing and kitesurfing spots, as well as one of Rügen’s most beautiful sandy beaches, are just a few kilometers away. After an active day, enjoy the tranquility on the terrace, in the sunroom, or in front of the cozy tiled stove. Restaurants serving regional cuisine and offering stunning views of the water are within easy walking distance at the harbor.
Built in the first half of the 19th century, the Kapitänshaus once served as the home of a sailor from Brege. During its careful renovation, its historic character was preserved and combined with modern living comforts.
With 100 m² of living space, you’ll find three cozy bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and a light-filled living and dining area with an open kitchen. The adjoining sunroom offers a beautiful view of the terrace and creates a pleasant, cozy atmosphere in every season. A large TV provides entertainment, while the tiled stove adds warmth and coziness, especially during the cooler months.
Ideal for workations and extended stays: The master bedroom features a fully equipped workspace with a desk, monitor, and keyboard. This allows you to perfectly combine productive workdays with relaxing hours by the Baltic Sea.
Outside, the terrace, beach chair, and garden invite you to unwind. The lawn offers plenty of space for families and children. On the back lawn, a soccer goal awaits players of all ages—for spontaneous tournaments, spectacular goals, and the inevitable debate over whether the ball really crossed the line. A (travel) crib and a high chair ensure a comfortable stay even for our youngest guests.
A free private parking space and a lockable shed for bicycles and e-bikes are also available.
