This was a unique stay in a 300 year old home. It looked like the pictures and had loads of charm. The location is wonderful and wandering through the old streets of Martina Franca to get back to”home” was special. Dario was a great host. He walked us to the apartment, greeted us with wine and snacks and was responsive to our requests. When there was an issue with the shower nozzle, he came right away with a replacement part.
Being an old home, you have to be able to deal with some minor inconveniences. The shower is tight and the WiFi is inconsistent. They have taken steps to address the WiFi with a booster. The shower curtain could have been cleaner, though.

Dario was the perfect host. He went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. Dario had wine, breakfast snacks and jams waiting for us.
The house is a beautiful traditional Italian home with lots of fabulous quirky features. It's stunning and in the perfect location to see Martina Franca; in walking distance to the Piazza Maria Immacolata, shops and restaurants.
We have had an amazing holiday and are sad to leave. We will definitely stay here again!

The Casa Antica Cibbun is sweet and characterful with great charm. It is tucked away in a picturesque corner of the historic centre, very quiet, safe and private. The house has been lovingly restored and decorated with rustic style. Part of the charm is its age, so while it has everything you need for a short to medium stay, don’t expect a modern condo. A little quirky, fun, homey, with a comfy bed. There are a few stairs up to the flat but they are very steep. A good strong railing and good illumination make them negotiable for the moderately able-bodied. The host provided breakfast items and staples, soap and shampoo, and a welcome bottle of wine. Meeting Dario was a real pleasure; he is kind with a big soul. Although he was very busy harvesting his olives when I was there, we still managed to connect and he was helpful and very friendly, including patiently waiting for me when I got lost on the way! Beware that Google maps doesn't really know where you are in the warren of little streets in Martina Franca, so listen to Dario's instructions and ask for help if you need it.
There are a couple of low arches in the house and a step up in the bathroom, not a problem for a 5’2” woman, but need for caution if you are taller.
