Villa Sun Budva

I had a lovely stay at Villa Sun in Budva! The accommodation made for a pleasant experience, and I appreciated the opportunity to enjoy our time in this beautiful destination. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while exploring Budva and its surroundings. I would happily recommend it to other travellers and would consider staying here again!

Everything in the room was exactly as described and shown in the photos. I booked it for only a couple of nights, but in the end I wished I could have stayed longer. The location is very convenient. There are two coffee shops nearby, which coffee lovers will definitely appreciate, a large supermarket about a five-minute walk away, and Parma, one of the great places to eat in Budva, is also very close. The room has everything you need if you want to prepare your own food, including cookware, dishes, oil, spices and other useful little things. The internet connection was excellent, and the Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout our stay. The hosts were especially lovely and very responsive. When we asked for an extra blanket, they reacted almost immediately. One of my favourite things was spending the evenings outside at the tables near the house, drinking wine and simply enjoying our holiday. It created a very cosy and relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed on the ground floor, so the sound insulation was not perfect. There is a school nearby, and during the day you can sometimes hear children outside. However, I would consider this more a feature of the location than a problem with the accommodation itself. There is also a small issue with the shower. It is a walk-in shower without a raised edge, so even with the shower curtain some water can spread across the bathroom floor. A floor squeegee is provided, so it is easy to clean up, but the first time I left the bath mat on the floor and it ended up completely soaked. Once you know about it, it is easy enough to manage. The TV is an older model, so we were not able to use YouTube or Netflix or cast videos from a phone to the screen. This was not a major issue for us, but it may be worth keeping in mind if you like watching films or series in the evening.

Very clean.

Third time in Budva and the first when I had to pay extra for the parking lot. There is no mention about this on Booking, The price was not a big deal, just the fact that I had to pay when I was not prepared to do so. There are two beds for four people in total, but even if there are only tow persons, the place is small.

We liked Villa Sun so much we booked an extra night. Clean, comfortable, modern suite with microwave, fridge, stove & dishes/pots & pans, etc. It has a lovely balcony as well. Close to bus station, beach, restaurants, grocery stores & shops.
