Psaropoula Guest House

We loved the location, the loveliness and character of our room and the roominess. It was also fully stocked with anything we needed in the kitchen and we really appreciated the water and wine that the lovely hosts treated us to. They also allowed us to check in earlier as the room was cleaned and available a bit earlier than check in time, which was very convenient. Communication was good as well. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay here again! Σας ευχαριστουμε πολη!

Compact guesthouse attached to one of the best restaurants in Hydra harbour, with friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as it could be.

The guest house is located right in the middle town, so it’s easy to walk everywhere (a 5-10 minute walk from ferry). The apartment was clean and linen provided was fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating (we were able to store our luggage at their restaurant after check out). Plenty of hot water for showers. It was great having a washing machine.

Given the location in town, it could get noisy outside at night so perhaps not suited if you are a light sleeper or are visiting in high season (this didn’t bother us too much).

Basic but ok apartment in an excellent location. Hydra is expensive so this is very budget friendly and the man who welcomed us was friendly.

Don’t expect too much in the way of luxury or comfort. Unfortunately it was advertised as a two bed apartment which is misleading. The second bed is on a mezzanine with very low ceiling and no space. Might be suitable for a small child but not an adult. Lots of insects and quite noisy but this isn’t the fault of the owner. The furnishings are very basic, they could make many simple improvements if they chose to. We ended up leaving a night sooner as we found more comfortable accomm elsewhere.
