Homely, comfortable establishment, very tastefully decorated. Lots of thoughtful touches - a communal pantry area with fresh refrigerated milk, crisps and confectionary. Staff very friendly and welcoming Five minute walk from the upper town centre to shops, pubs and restaurants. Buxton is a very attractive town and certainly worth a visit.
I would have preferred to park on the location site but had to use the roadside. However it was a quiet residential road and so not a real concern I asked for well-done bacon and sausage at breakfast but they came underdone. As we were the only diners, there was no excuse for failing to fulfil a simple request
