Knatchbull Cottage

Nice space for the whole family, inside and outside. Very modern and everything easy to use.

Could have been cleaner… dust on the bedroom floors, shower heads and drains clogged, dirty trays left in the oven and bin bags left outside to rot. We were only supplied with one extra bin bag for a week stay and a tiny bottle of washing up liquid so had to buy our own. We were not left with any cleaning supplies for the hot tub (hoover etc) so after 4 days of use it was a bit grimy. The garden is a nice outdoor space and we played many outdoor games, but the lawn had weeds and stinging nettles growing throughout it.

We loved this house for it's layout, cleanliness and facilities. Hosts were great with any pre-arrival questions we had and it worked well for us. Amazed by the range of items at the Londis in the village - so helpful for such a small village.

The village has almost no mobile signal and when we struggled to fund the house it was a bit tricky. However, it is diagonally opposite the village pub up a lane with other houses. Perfect location and once we found it all was fine. The excellent WiFi in the house meant we were fine with limited signal.

The kitchen and bi fold doors. The garden area. Location. Comfortable. Felt very luxurious.

Sofa very tight for three people def not for 6. Champagne flutes and a larger frying pan and saucepan required. Oil outside kitchen door - hard to avoid.

The property didn’t disappoint It was exactly like the photos, immaculate all mod cons etc It is out the way, and apart from a pub that never seemed to be open and Londis shop, that’s all that there is We went there to chill out, we took plenty of food and drink and had a delightful time It doesn’t show in the pictures but there is a charcoal bbq there for you to use also The hot tub was a bonus
