Siamo stati lì solo una notte, ottima posizione è andato tutto bene. La stanza era molto pulita ed era tutto nuovo!

The place was very clean. This is the most positive point. It's clean, and it does have a cooktop and a sink for minimal cooking. I only stayed one night, so all I needed was a shower and WiFi. Unfortunately, I got neither...partly my fault but also something the hosts could have managed better.

Unfortunately, my flight was delayed over an hour and then my train was delayed an hour, and ultimately I had to walk 20 minutes to this place because I barely missed the bus. Then when I got there, someone else had taken my room. For this I don't fault the hosts. It's not their fault that guests cannot count from 1 to 4. It's also not their fault that for Italians punctuality is just a suggestion. However, they admonished me for being late (as if I wanted to spend the entire day without food, and sick, and walk 20 minutes to arrive at my accommodation at 1 at night and then not be able to enter because another guest cannot read the difference between room 1 vs. 4). Then I couldn't get into the room because I have never seen this kind of entry (I later learned it's common in Italian hotels...but I lived in Italy, I never stayed in a hotel here). Again they admonished me: "Read the instructions." Well, the instructions say, "The card opens the door." What they SHOULD say is: "The symbol on the card corresponds to the symbol on the citofono, and that opens the door." Furthermore, they provided no instructions to say that you have to insert the card in a slot inside the door to turn on the lights (which is stupid - what if you want less lights - but I learned it's common in Italian hotels. Again, I lived here...I never stayed in a hotel here). So I spent the night in the dark. Finally, the WiFi password is absolutely wrong. I tried it 5 times that night, and once again in the morning. My next accommodation kindly arranged for early check-in the following day, and I was able to access their WiFi perfectly - so the problem is not my phone. The owners were online at night and told me to take the other room, and I'm grateful. However, based on my experience I think they should hire a company to manage the check-in process.
