Beautiful hotel, excellent food in the restaurant. Lovely luxury stay after a days hiking

Out of 7 different hotels on our trip, this was by far our favourite. We were sad that we hadn't booked it for more than two nights and thought about how we'd be able to go about extending our stay here. Some of the staff at reception were extremely friendly and we felt very welcome on arrival. The room we got was extremely nice, with a great view, windows on two sides, and spotlessly clean. The balcony and lounge area in the room were both also excellent features. The included breakfast was quite nice with many typical Swedish (and more general) options, with some variety across the two mornings we were there. The hotel is a great base for exploring the surrounding islands. It's also pretty easy to get to/from the hotel from/to Gothenburg itself. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and are planning to stay there again in the future.

The design of the shower area (screen on one side, but open towards the basin area) means that the bathroom is a little prone to getting flooded by water from the shower. We mostly prevented this with the towel on the floor, but the towel ended up getting very wet.

Restaurangen håller inte samma kvalité som när jag var där i november.

Det går bara att öppna fönstret ”på glänt”. Det fanns ytterligare ett fönster men det gick inte att öppna alls. När det är sommar och varmt ute vill man kunna ha öppet fönster. Detta drar ner betyget på helheten. En annan besvikelse var att det inte gick att få lunch dag 2 pga abonnerat. Det tycker jag var uselt. Vi borde fått veta detta när vi checkade in.
