Pleasant accommodation for the short stay I needed.

I had a really good stay here and I’m grateful it was available for the time I needed. This property is just on the outskirts of Reading and is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, a nice contrast to the centre of town but has fantastic links by car or bus if you need it. The room was clean and reasonably sized. Kitchen and dining room too with cutlery, some free ingredients, and an empty yet clean fridge. Toilet and bathroom was separate from each other but both were clean and usable. I really, really appreciated the complimentary cereal, juice, and coffee in the bedroom - that saved me when I had to rush in the morning for work. I understand the long life milk but that’s not for me haha.

There’s not much I didn’t like about this property. It was in a great location, the rooms were clean, the amenities worked, and complimentary cereal was very thoughtful. If anything, I only have a couple of notes: why is there not a wall-mounted mirror in either the bathroom or toilet? And the electronic passcode lock to enter the room (not the house) was slightly temperamental - took a while to get in / putting your palm over it to light it up was a struggle. Worked great when did, but when it didn’t work straight away it took a few attempts.

Check in access information was not sent and I had to chase that up myself upon arrival with text messages and email to the proprietor who wasn't on site.
