Browhill Loft - contemporary, handcrafted studio

Ingenious! Lovely pristineself contained home from home, designed and built by the friendly, welcoming hosts with a series of sliding doors and cupboards offering up everything you need for a relaxing stay after long daytime hikes. Lovely views, too. I spent two nights there on trip to support a fundraising friend complete the final legs of the South Downs Way and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. My neighbours the chickens were a talkative delight too. Little extras like eggs, coffee, tea and croissants were a lovely touch

My only tiny disappointment was the unusual quilt cover which had a heavy, rubbery texture and not as comfy as the othther soft furnishings An emergency guest size bathroom toiletries pack would have been fantastic as I'd left mine behind but that's not a fault! 0800 279 7234

Wonderful hosts and an amazing hand crafted space. Such ingenious use of the space made a small space seem much larger. The green views of the trees and hills from the windows were really lovely to. Also really liked saying hello the chickens each time we came in or out the property. The Browhill loft is such a welcoming place to stay - we loved the feeling we got when we walked in - from the wooden craftwork to the colours used in the cushions and throws - you immediately tell this space is loved and we really enjoyed our stay here.

The location for me was perfect, loved how quiet it is. The bed was most comfortable, which made for a very good night's sleep. Eggs and milk in the fridge. The eggs, I think, were from chickens that were at Browhill, although due to my limited time at the loft I didn't have the chance to try. Cafetiere coffee which was a nice touch and gave me that much needed caffeine kick in the morning. I like the fact that loft is compact and although I didn't use the hob, I feel that The bathroom is pristine and the shower powerful enough to relax, enjoy and feel comfortable in... I've been in too many that are not. The TV has basic channels, but has WiFi for streaming I am only disappointed that I couldn't have spent a little more time enjoying Browhill. I had a Spartan event at Pippingford and this was a perfect little bolthole to come back to. If I return down this way, Browhill would be the first place I now look for Thank you Sara👍

I'm not sure I can find anything that I was unhappy with to be honest. I travelled alone and I travel light, so wardrobe space for me was ample. Maybe if you bring a whole suitcase of clothes etc, then it's possibly a different story, but there is plenty of room under the bed for cases😉👍

Endroit calme, logement bien aménagé, très propre et agréable. Propriétaire très serviable nous a laissé du lait, des croissants et de la confiture à notre arrivée. Du thé et du café était aussi un bon atout.

Froid à l'intérieur à notre arrivée. On a mis le chauffage en marche et dans quelques heures la chambre est devenu chaude et agréable.
