Location is the only reason I stay in the hotel. There're plenty street parking and the motel also has a lots of parking spaces. I drove, parked, and took the #2 train to Manhattan. That's the only positive.

Cons Noise: I was placed in a second-floor room right next to the laundry room, and guests were running washers between 11 p.m. and midnight. The wall vibrated and the noise was disruptive. Train noise is also noticeable, since the property is close to the #2 train. Room amenities: The room has been newly renovated, but several easy fixes would make a real difference: No shelf or holder for soap and shampoo in the walk-in shower (only the floor) Only one clothes hanger No coffee or tea kettle The TV can’t be fully turned off. Even after pressing the power button, a bright screensaver stays on. Overall: Keep in mind this is a motel in a so-so area of the Bronx. I wouldn’t recommend it for solo women travelers or families. The staff was polite, though a bit more warmth would go a long way.
