Castillo Santa Barbara - Wellhome Alicante

Flexibilidad para la hora de entrada y salida, estuvieron muy atentos. El piso tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días, cocina equipada, 3 dormitorios dobles con baño en suite y otro aseo extra.

The lock on the door was a bit confusing to start - key kept getting stuck in the door and was hard to get out. The door to the dryer room was broken and left leaning against the door frame - this room was also very hot and the heat pump was quite loud at times. It would have been good to have had this fixed so we could shut this room off more. Some of the showers had damage to them (wall stands not fitted properly) the shower room in the main living area had hair on the wall. The was a distinct sewage smell at times in the bathrooms which was unpleasant. The tv’s were unusable due to channels not being set up or WiFi disconnected or being logged in/set up for different languages I also found a makeup pencil in the sink in my room’s bathroom when we arrived which didn’t belong to any of us - just made us question the level of cleaning / inspection the property has between stays

Todo esta bien

The room was ok, however there were two things that were really annoying. The first was the smell from the sewage pipe. Even with the bathroom door closed the smell was awful. The second thing was the noise of the rain. Outside the window there is a leak in the gutter or roof and when it rains the water drops hit something outside making it impossible to sleep. Apart from these two things that really spoiled my stay the rest was acceptable but I should have spent a few more euros on something better. I was in room number 3 - I am not sure if other rooms have the same issues because the place was highly rated and I am not sure why
