DD Canel

A nice and quiet well maintained house by the canal. Clean and spacious rooms with a smart TV in each room. The outside area facing the canal is great for relaxing.

It was way too far from the city attractions than I thought when I booked it. Since it is on the other side of the river, any taxi or bus has to go around it to get to the city, and it takes well over 30 mins each way if you are going to see basically any attraction in Bangkok city in daytime traffic. You only have a microwave and an electric kettle in the kitchenette (maybe that is how it is in Bangkok, but I expected at least basic cooking equipment to make a quick breakfast when it said "kitchenette"). Also the washing machine was a paid one. You need 50 THB in exactly coins of 10 THB, and there was no washing liquid/powder in the house (also maybe how it is in Bangkok, but I did not bring 50 THB in coins and washing liquid on the first day).

Leuk huisje met alles aanwezig en zeer netjes en schoon. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw 👍

Very nice location, clean, comfy beds, ac in every room, the staff was helpful and fast. We used the washing machine for 50 Baht (detergent included), there are a lot of mosquitos because of the river, but there is body spray, and some anti mosquitos equipments which are effective. The staff mets us in the midnight for the check-in

There is a fig tree there and figs are falling over the terrace roof which makes loud noises, but it didn't disturb our sleep.

Anthentique, en plein quartier autochtone. Superbe surface. Maison pleine de charme. Proche de marchés locaux et d'épiceries. Propriétaire méga sympa.

Un peu loin du centre, difficultés de trouver un Grab. Manque un airco dans la cuisine.
