Casa Soleado

The property was very clean neat and tidy good location close to shops and within walking distance of the strip for restaurants and bars - very central to travel to other areas - we did a month long stay and initially only had one set of towels and sheets a quick message to agents resolved this very quickly and when asked allowed us an extra hour on departure day till 11 however somebody turned up at 9am to clean opened the door and let themselves in which was before the allotted 10am departure time

The lack of soundproofing and being kept awake by water flowing at all times of the night and a very noisy neighbour above who constantly thudded about night and day time - the mattress was very uncomfortable and it was only at the end of the first week when I stripped the bed to change the sheets that I understood why as the mattress was upside down on the bed once turned over it was a little more comfortable - the outlook from the balcony is a side view to the pool but immediately in front is wasteland and a crane but there is also a distant view of the Mar Menor - lack of chairs to take to the pool being almost 70 did not want to lie on a hard surface or purchase chairs for around the pool - Photos of views from balcony

Great place

Great location, very clean and modern

We loved everything

It was exceptional clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable (however, the pillows were very high, so I had to sleep with sofa cushions). The living room is spacious and the kitchen is clean. The property didn’t have a kettle or toaster when we first arrived, but the host arranged for these to be delivered. Much appreciated. The balcony area is lovely, overlooking the pool. The pool is large, however, as we were on the third floor - we didn’t have access to sun lounger’s. But the space itself around the pool is lovely. Another issue we found was the key to the apartment and the building - was a nightmare to figure out and at time could take like ten minutes to get in. Literally took until day 3 to figure it out, didn’t make any sense at first. Not a major issue, but should be easier. Overall the property is amazing and really did exceed my exceptions

The location. Even though it’s right next to a Aldi and other supermarkets. Which were helpful. But it was literally at the end of nowhere and a 15/20 min walk to the beach and the restaurants (might be quicker with older family) - which due to heat, was unbearable at times. Just a shame nothing else is around it. Don’t know if “in season” more open up, but it was pretty poor in June
