Woodstock

A very pleasant and deceptively spacious chalet style house in a very quiet location. The location is ideal for visiting local places such as Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Yeovil. The rooms were well furnished and the hosts were very helpful organising a travel cot, high chair and stairgate for us. The kitchen was large with plenty of room for six of us to sit. Beds were very comfortable and facilities such as kitchen appliances, TV and Wi Fi were all great. Plenty of chirruping birds in the very private, well maintained and secure garden. The reservoir is only a shortish walk and looks amazing, but sadly we didn't have time to visit it.

We had been advised that access to the property is tight. There is a wide, gated driveway and we had no issues getting in and out, but the access road from either end is very narrow and single track (although quiet - we met little traffic in either direction).

Very close to chard equestrian centre for the show For horsey people - would need a car as lane is very tight , wouldn’t be able to come in the horsebox but we left the trailer at the show ground Clean and tidy property with great hosts and everything straight forward and easy The hosts were helpful and the house is clean and all instructions are very clear such as WiFi, oven etc
