Need to walk to restaurant and reception with gusty wind and dark no street lights..

Overall it was amazing and not great at the same time. But I give it a 10. Because the location is just stunning, and the room was actually excellent, glorious view and balcony, comfy bed, nice chair, big TV, good hot shower. Plus we had one guy at “reception” - the visitor centre staff - who was delightful, the others didn’t speak English and didn’t assist.

No communication or instructions. We paid for breakfast. We chose our coffee and food options. The cafe - under separate management - is a very nice building but terribly run. Due to start at 9am and we needed to leave at 9:30. Come 9:15, still closed. No coffee. Food would take another 15 minutes. Too late. Unacceptable. We also ate there in the evening. Truly Absurd prices - £14 for a small burger that wasn’t very good. Double or triple everywhere else we have stayed. I can see there are also lots of maintenance issues with the rooms. They are trying to run an upscale boutique hotel but with no infrastructure and hotel staff. Expensive for what it is.

The location is amazing and it is lovely to sit on the terrace and look at the canyon. It was a comfortable cabin with a lovely hot shower. Nice selection of teas in the room too.

No breakfast. We were asked to choose a breakfast the night before and turned up at 9am to find no staff whatsoever. Se wanted to leave at 9.30am so we couldn’t have anything. The coffee machine was broken both days too so no coffee. It was odd that they asked us to choose which type of coffee we wanted when the machine was already broken.
