Amazing location, cool tents, friendly and helpful staff

No toilets available for tents from 11pm to 8am and no breakfast included.

The location is unbeatable. It was so incredible to be able to watch sunset and sunrise within Charyn Canyon. We stayed in one of the tents. The tent itself was very clean, nice, had outdoor patio chairs, enough blankets, a space to hang things, and windows that you could zip or unzip.

Unfortunately, we were a bit confused. We thought there would be facilities available in the reception area (i.e., bathrooms, showers). There were bathrooms, but they are only available during certain hours. There really was no shower. The staff said we could use the staff shower, but when I peaked it, it looked like it was being used like a storage closet. There were also no towels. I think this is just important to know upfront, as it wasn't clear from the description/pictures. It also felt on the expensive side for what it is, particularly given the limited facilities.

Die Lage ist super. Die Zelte sind stabil und trotzen auch mal Sturm und Gewitter. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, praktisch, gut. Die Betten ebenso. Die Sitzecke vorm Zelt ist sehr schön. Gastro im Visitorcenter.

Wer Zelt bucht, bucht Sanitäranlagen 300m um die Ecke im Visitorcenter (geschlossen zw. 23 und 08 Uhr). Das weiß man aber. Insgesamt Preis zu hoch fürs Gesamtpaket.

We were in the tents and they had - very comfortable beds - fantastic view (of the canyon and the night sky) - very nice and convenient terrace - quite surroundings - extremely location, quick access to the canyon (good for morning walks) - could directly drive to the tent with the car

- our greatest problem was that there were no toilets close to the tents. We had to walk ~500 meters to the toilets and they were located in the visitor center so they were quite crowded, dirty and also closed during the night. There was no official shower only a dirty staff only shower nearby the restaurant - there were water outages so the toilets were also not available during the day for some time - be aware that additionally to the booking price, there is a 10% city tax - we booked breakfast but at the restaurant they were confused that we had included breakfast. After some time we got a menu but some of the dishes that we ordered never arrived. After asking we were told they were out of stock (but then they brought some to other guests). We were also not offered any alternative for the missing food items. So overall the location is perfect, we had a good view and comfortable tents but the staff seemed very bored or unmotivated and without always accessible and dirty toilets the price was very high compared to other accommodations that we had.
