A beautiful extended stone cottage in a brilliant location for visiting the French chateaux around Tours, Blois and Amboise. Very quiet, stylish and comfortable accommodation with an excellently equipped kitchen and a relaxing garden with a beautiful swimming pool. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the bathrooms luxurious.
A particular stand-out were the friendly and helpful owners, Michel and Sophie, and the excellent local contact Geraldine who was very helpful and provided a thorough tour of the house and information on local facilities.
Hard to say what could have been better. We were a little unlucky to be there in 46 degree temperatures so perhaps slightly more powerful air conditioning units would be beneficial, but this is a tiny point as we were staying in exceptional weather conditions.
