Imagine yourself far from the hustle and bustle of the city, where nature and tranquillity surround you. In Plazac, a small village in the heart of Périgord, a house for six people awaits you, nestled in a quiet and secluded location, ideal for rejuvenating holidays.
What makes this place special is its outdoor swimming pool that allows you, in complete peace, to dive in and cool off, spend hours swimming or simply perfecting your tan, book in hand. Its large garden is just as enjoyable for dining on the terrace or for meals with a view of a clear and starry sky.
The swimming pool is open from 15 June to 15 September
The rooms of the house preserve their old stones and exposed beams on the ceiling, which add an undeniable charm, with a large wood-burning stove warming the atmosphere in winter for convivial moments by the fire.
This stone house of 138 m² has a dining area with a large table. It is open to the living room with its sofa, television and wood stove. You will also discover, on the ground floor, a fully equipped open kitchen with its oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and all the necessary utensils to cook in complete peace of mind. You will also have access to the first bedroom with a double bed (140/190) as well as the first bathroom.
Upstairs, you will access the two other bedrooms: one of them has a double bed and the second, two single beds (90/190). A workspace is also available if you need to telework. You will also find a mezzanine with an additional double bed if needed, as well as a second bathroom with a separate toilet. The house has a washing machine and three parking spaces for total comfort.
The garden space is equipped with furniture to fully enjoy the outdoors and its salt water pool, open between mid-June and mid-September.

We had a very enjoyable week at this Gite. The pool, gardens and view were a particular highlight. The house is traditional and well serviced. Barbara was very helpful on arrival, and with communication prior to arrrival. The local produce left for us to enjoy was gratefully received and delicious!
There is plenty of seating inside and out, which was perfect for our family of 6, and meant we could enjoy all areas of the house and garden, dependant on the time of day and temperature.
Overall the house was clean and tidy, but a reduction on kitchen items would have made for easier cleaning and the pantry cupboard may need a clearout, as seemed to be more leftovers from previous guests, rather than useful items.
We were lucky with the weather, which meant the upstairs bedrooms were very warm, but fans were provided, which was great!
We would happliy return in the future.

We stayed two weeks at the property. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, however, we came across some issues. To bathroom did have dirt from previous guests, and the thirth room was in the corridor.
