Very practical layout of the space and amazing view of the ricefield. Well equipped kitchen and very proactive staff handled our check in/ check out and cooked us breakfast at the villa and organised for the therapists to come for the massages at the villa.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa with our friends. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Each room was clean, cozy, and well-appointed. Our villa host, Pram, was kind, attentive, and always quick to respond to any requests we had. His hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommended for a perfect getaway.

During the daytime, the living room tended to get quite warm as it wasn’t air-conditioned. Additionally, the villa is located a bit away from the city centre, which may be something to consider depending on the plans.

We were met by our Villa Host Pam who was very kind, helpful and responsive to my messages. I was looking for tranquillity and peace with no construction nearby and that is what we had at Villa Shiva. Amongst the locals which was really lovely as didn't want to be to close to the heart of Ubud. Just perfect for myself and two teenage daughters. I was also looking for a property that would look out over the rice fields and have a view which we got with the infinity plunge pool. Plenty of seating areas and loved the sunken lounge where we had our dinner. Loved the bathrooms and the main room has an outdoor bath, there is lots of space in the bedrooms, even has a safe. The aircon works well, the beds were really big and comfy and the nicest long pillows. We all slept really well! We loved that staff come in and remake the beds and clean, makes you feel like a queen! Loved the small touches like including mozzie spray, fresh drinking water and soaps, shampoos and conditioners and towels for the pool. The villa is very private and no one overlooks you which we enjoyed. We felt safe at all times, also knowing they had 24/7 security onsite. Villa Shiva can offer you transport, private chef and activities. We used GoJek to get around, which ranged anywhere from IDR 42,000 to 92,000 which I felt was reasonable for the location.

Only really minor things - There was no aircon in the main living area, which isn't really a problem as you can open up the three large sliding doors which lets a breeze in. The Villa isn't well signposted so a sign down the front would be great. The pillows on the couch were gorgeous to look at but not very comfy to sit back on. Suggestion - a clothes rack would be great to hang your wet swimmers and towel on.
