Difficile à trouver mais ravis d’y être

The apartment is newly refurbished and the bathroom and kitchen area are brand-new. The location in Old Miramas is very good and its a quiet village with two excellent restaurants. At night the village is quiet. Old Miramas is close enough to the big centres so that commuting into the town is no problem. It was 32 degrees when I was there, so the air-conditioning was a life saver.

I should have read the description of the apartment more fully. I didn't expect a one room apartment with a sofa bed. Arriving late and tired it was a bit of a shock. It should have been clear from the photo's but I didn't see what I should have. With the bed extended there is no room in the apartment. You cannot park outside the apartment, you have to park in the public car park and walk there (with your bags and cases). Arriving at the apartment, google maps points to completely the wrong building, which also matches the description of the exterior, but there is no way into the building. The instructions to find the apartment need to be improved. Its on the right as you go through the barrier. The apartment was brand new, but the building itself was in sever need of restauration, filled with leaves, old newspapers the entrance hall looked like it had not been cleaned for days. It was like entering a building I would not normally choose to. At night, the light in the hall outside doesn't turn off, and the gap under the door means that in addition to the noise of people passing by, there is constant light entering the apartment when trying to fall asleep. The apartment itself is very nice - its just not what I was expecting.
