Castle Forge 4-Bedroom Historic Purbeck Forge in Kingston, Corfe Castle, Sleeps 7

I liked the views, around the house, it had all the apparatus you needed eg, pots, pans, kettle. Had nice touches how it was presented, the towels were in bows, and so was the tea towels! A book with information, aswell as suggestions of places to go. Everything was clean and tidy, if you fancied playing games, there was plenty to choose from, the children's room had a toy chest too! I liked that they had warnings where the steps were as they were all different heights, so that stopped some stubbed toes! I loved that it had sky lights in kitchen so it was nice and bright, and if it was a clear night u could see the stars, we didn't but I imagine that would be lovely also!

It was directly next to a pub, it actually wasnt a problem in the end, but the pot boys dont have good taste in music, and it went through the walls to the kids room (I'm an adult but I got that one!) Fortunately it went off by 10pm, but after being in the pub myself, im pretty sure if you had kids and that happened, they were lovely staff there, so if you told them, they'd probably turn off anyway. If your a light sleeper and you get the double rooms, they have sky lights with no blinds, so if light mornings, its not the best so eye masks are a good idea, kids room has a cover so I was alright!

The property is very spacious and is well equipped. The enclosed courtyard is also lovely. The rooms are all thoughtfully decorated.

There was a smell of oil in the little twin room and it would have been useful to know that the little single room is connected to one of the doubles. Some of the sharp utensil cupboards in the kitchen are at child height so some rearranging is needed. Also there was no lock on the main bathroom.

Very well equipped, great views, large living areas, great location next to a lovely pub and perfect for exploring Isle of Purbeck & Jurassic Coast

The property is set over many levels which we weren't aware of and did pose a few problems with my father who is terminally ill with cancer and struggles to walk. It was cold at night and the heater on one room didn't work and with only one plug socket it was limited anyway.
