Family cottage

The cottage was absolutely lovely — clean, cosy and welcoming, and it smelled beautifully fresh as soon as we arrived. It was really well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including little essentials such as tea, sugar, cleaning supplies and bathroom products. I particularly appreciated having a washing machine and clothes airer — perhaps not the most exciting part of a holiday 🤣, but as a busy mum and nurse, being able to keep on top of the washing while we were away saved me so much work when we got home! The location was fantastic for exploring the area. We visited Chessington World of Adventures and Box Hill, and also spent a day in London. Ewell Station was around a 15-minute walk away (or approximately £8 in an Uber), and the train into London took about 35 minutes, which made it really easy. We also visited Hampton Court Palace (20 mins away) take towels and a change of clothes if you have little ones for the Magic Garden. Beautiful day there. Having somewhere to park the car was another big bonus. Lovely cottage, great location and wonderful hosts. We had a brilliant stay and would happily recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable base for exploring Surrey and London. Thank you for having us! ❤️

We had a great time at the property. It was immaculately clean and provided excellent facilities. The kitchen was a wonderful addition to staying in a hotel room. It was extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The property is in an excellent location for Chessington World of Adventure. The owners were very friendly and they couldn’t do enough to help. We were sad to leave and we would certainly return, thank-you for a wonderful stay.

It's not really a cottage but an outhouse opposite the family's main house. The pull down bed wasn't enough space for my two adult sons but smaller people will fit
