The location of the apartment was wonderful. You could walk just about anywhere in 5 to 15 minutes. Super close to the Duomo and museums. There were great restaurants around and excellent shopping. It was nice to have a washing machine. No dryer so plan accordingly.
Have to be honest, the steep stairs to the apartment were challenging, which they do state in the ad that it’s up almost about 100 steps. If you have heavy luggage, take your time. We also thought that the seating in the living room was limited to really two people. I think if you have three or more, you’re gonna be sitting on a kitchen table chair. To be honest you’re not in Florence to sit around on a sofa, but after walking around all day, it is kinda nice to take a little break. AC worked well in each of the rooms. We hit a hot wave while there in May.

Perfect location
101 stairs to the apartment. If you have health issues of any kind, climbing the stairs with your bags and going back and forth could be an issue.

The location of the property was amazing — we could not have asked for a more central location in Florence. The host, Roberta, coordinated all of our requests and was one of the friendliest, most accommodating, and helpful people we met. A truly great host!
The check-in person, Sole, was also amazing and helped us with anything we needed during our stay. The apartment itself was historic, very clean, and an incredible place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
There is no elevator, so you do need to climb five flights of stairs, but honestly, it became part of the charm of our trip and kept us in shape, so we really did not mind. At both check-in and check-out, the host also arranged for someone to help us with our luggage, which we greatly appreciated.
Amazing stay, beautiful apartment, and wonderful host. I highly recommend this property!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. I could tell that the owner is an interior designer. The second I walked in ..,the location could not be better, walkable to everything that you would want to see in Florence
