The view from our house was facing the bins and storage area. Some of the properties faced the woodland, which would have been perfect.

It was beautifully designed and was equipped with everything I needed for my short stay. Its location, tucked in the forest, made it quiet and peaceful. I often saw deer out my window and around the property. It was easy to get to via bus from Shinjuku.
The location was a bit of a walk from the public shores of the lake, which is something to keep in mind if you don’t have a car or bike. This was not a huge issue though as walking in the area in very enjoyable.
