A wonderful little stay in Lake Yamanakako. The entire property is staffless, and they give you a PIN code on the day that you check in, so the whole process is completely flawless. I would definitely not recommend the property if you don't have a car, but chances are, if you're out there anyways, you already have one. So I consider that a non-issue. All the properties down by the actual lakefront are very, very busy, and there's quite a bit of traffic, especially on holidays like when we went. But once you get up to where the property actually is, traffic is almost completely non-existent, letting you fully enjoy the serenity of the area. The property itself is incredibly well-equipped, and had just about everything we needed. The radiant floor heating was also amazing. It was so good that we didn't even need to turn on the heater the entire time that we stayed there, even though it got below freezing outside. The ability to use a wood-fired sauna and campfire really gives you the feeling of camping, and juxtaposes the well-equip and large indoor kitchen. Finally, the size and quality of the bath and shower cannot be understated. I felt like I was back in America. I am 183cm and I could almost fully lay down in it. I'm bringing the whole family out to this place again this summer!

I find it very difficult to say anything about the property that we didn't particularly enjoy, but I'll try to say something. First of all, there were no regular-sized kitchen knives in the property. This wasn't a huge issue, as the property comes with three cooking knives. However, if you're bringing more than three people, which you most likely are since this property sleeps up to ten comfortably, you're going to run into some issues with silverware. The only other thing I can think of besides that is that it would be nice to have some sort of standing or small fan in the bedrooms, as the property can get a bit stuffy at night due to the humidity. But again, these are small complaints compared to the quality of the property overall.
