Begoña Sea View

The terrace is splendid: large, direct sea view. We spent many an evening lounging on the sofa, and had our morning coffee looking at the sparkling waves. Access to the pool, sauna. We didn't use them much, really, but they're there should you want to take a dip or relax a bit, and there's hardly anybody by the pool in the evenings. Instructions to get the keys are pretty clear... We obviously failed to pay attention and had to get back to the station for them. Host was available over phone/WhatsApp and answered our questions fairly quickly. Fun fact: cutlery is in a hidden drawer, in the kitchen. We had a good "uuuuh"-ing session when we found it.

Several things were not quite ok, but it should be noted that none of them are the host's fault. While we were there, there was an ant infestation. We found out the painful way, one evening, when I stepped on a line of ants, in the dark, on the terrace, and got repeatedly bitten. That meant we also had ants in the flat, viciously biting our bums on the sofa, so we had to hunt them down. Not one of our proudest moments.... There's construction work going on. In all fairness, we weren't bothered much since we were out during the day and it stopped before we got back to the flat in the afternoon/evenings. The main bedroom has a built-in shower and toilet. Glass partitioned. Great, if you like watching your partner take a shower. Not so romantic when you need to take a wee in the middle of the night... There is a second bathroom in the flat, where the toilet is facing a glass wall which overlooks the street. It's like watching live TV while doing your business. Bit constipating, I'll be honest. We checked and fortunately the panel in front of it doesn't let someone from the outside see you, but you can't help feeling like you're on Big Brother.

No really easy but we figured it out! We had no idea the keys would be hidden in a place across the road at another building. Our parking spot had been taken but we informed the host and she fixed this by the next day.

Getting access to the key was not easy at all, we were not told the keys would be in a security box at another building nearby, were were sent pictures and told they were "below the building" but it was dark and it took us 20 minutes to find them. We were tired and this was stressful.

Położony przy samej stacji kolejki, bardzo blisko do plaży, w pełni wyposażony, komfortowy apartament. Taras bajka!
