An absolutely incredible location. Close to the Royal Mile and Victoria street/ Grassmarket, Greyfriars and all sorts of shops and restaurants. Lovely thoughtful accommodations with a super comfy bed, small but useful kitchen and great views. Communication was proactive and helpful.

Excellent location for walking to all areas of Edinburgh. Beautifully & stylishly furnished with everything needed for a very comfortable self catering stay. The apartment appeared either very new or at least newly refurbished with high quality fixtures & fittings. We had a super view of the castle from our window. Slight problem with the Nespresso machine which was resolved within 20 minutes by a very helpful housekeeping team.

The location was fantastic, right off of Victoria Street, Greyfriar’s Kirkyard, and so close to the Royal Mile. The rooms were so clean and cozy. We had all the amenities we could possibly need. The owners/staff were so friendly and helpful and got back to us about any inquiries right away. Perfect stay!

Only one thing…the doors to the bedrooms need a mechanism to keep them open, or a doorstop. We came as a group and having the bedroom doors close every time we went through them was kind of annoying since we wanted to keep them open to be able to chat and come and go more easily!

My only complaint was the mattress messed up my back. It was very uneven and no support. I was surprised because quality in this place was of such high quality, the bedding, the furniture, the fixtures etc. If they got a quality mattress to match this would be an absolute 10/10.

A really comfortable stay in a great area of Edinburgh.

Great location; super convenient for exploring the Old Town. It's close to some great breakfast cafes, restaurants and bars. Access to the building was straightforward. The apartment has been fitted out with some quality furnishings and fittings. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Communication with the team from Moment prior to our arrival and during our stay was on point.

There is no parking at the property and as we had an EV, suitable parking was some distance away. Luggage drop-off was a coordinated effort between my husband and myself as there's no allocated drop-off area or temporary parking available. We managed it just fine, even with a considerable amount of luggage, but just something to be aware of. There is limited hanging space for clothes and there are no drawers. Even with the windows closed (September), we did hear some noise from the nearby streets at 3am. It wasn't terribly loud, but I'm a light sleeper - my husband heard nothing and slept right through. Would we stay here again? Absolutely.

Very good location of the hotel in the Old Town. Even though the flats are small, they are well configured with modern equipment.

Value for money is average. Almost £400 per night but no staff on site. I sent a message to say that there were some dishes left in the dishwasher when we arrived but received no reply at all...

Excellent location, central for Fringe. Beautifully stylish, had everything and more like lots of extras - coffee machine with oat milk and fresh miniature milk in fridge, cool dab radio. Really comfortable bed with crisp cotton sheets, bonus to find had view of castle too, just perfect find

Fantastic views and beautiful decor at Moment!

This property is close to all the sites in Old Town — the Royal Mile, Victoria Street, Greyfriars Kirkyard, the Writer’s Museum, Deacon Brodie’s, the National Library of Scotland, and many of the venues for the August Fringe Festival. Our apartment was tastefully and beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed and a sofa. The kitchen has a small refrigerator and a dishwasher and stove. Bathroom is spacious. The fixtures and decor throughout the building are beautiful and current. There is a common laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. The dryer fully dries your clothes, which was different than most dryers we encountered in the UK. The unit is self-service, meaning you use a code to access the building and your unit, but we found the owner very responsive by email, text, and WhatsApp. We were lucky enough to have Apartment 1, and it has a fabulous view of Edinburgh Castle from the window. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to stay here again, as it made our trip to Edinburgh special.

I loved all parts of this property. As a heads up to others, there is no elevator; there are only stairs. But they are not steep and it’s only one flight.

Exceptional property

Absolutely 10/10 accommodation. So clean and spacious, amazing convenient location. The cleaning ladies were friendly and welcoming. The fact that you can store luggage before check in is a great bonus. Would definitely recommend and revisit! There's practically a full kitchen in your room so it would work well for long term stays too!

Nice staying at the heart of the Old Town

Location is excellent. Liked also the calm atmosphere inside the building even though there was a lot of traffic outside. The apartment was very clean. Only minor minus was that regular tv channels did not work.

Perfect weekend getaway

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect; you're right in the heart of the city yet the room was so quiet, with a stunning view of the castle, great amenities, super comfortable bed, etc. We truly cannot fault this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat. I know some didn't like not having a concierge, but we actually really appreciated the privacy, and staff could be reached almost immediately through the messaging platform.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were great--I went to call after my daughter with an umbrella but she had already gone out the front door. As if it happened in slow motion, I saw the apartment door close behind me and there I was...no shoes, no phone, no clue what the code was to my door. Much to my good fortune, ONE neighbor was in her apartment, but her phone couldn't make outgoing calls....she messaged my daughter who called the staff who called my neighbor with the code to my apartment.

Extremely clean and well maintained. Windows are double paned so no noise at all from street below. Beds, furniture all comfortable and seemed brand new. Coffeemaker, fridge, dishwasher, bathrooms, utensils all perfect. Very easy and clear to use the logins for both building and unit. Luggage storage very helpful. Staff was great.

Living room was very good sized but master br was very small. Basically only queen sized bed. But not a big deal. The doors didn’t have door stops or any way to leave open so we were constantly opening and closing doors. This was explained as a Fire hazard issue. Again not a big deal but a minor annoyance for a family of 4.

Great location

There is no one on site, so when we checked in our room had not been cleaned. It took over an hour for somebody to call us, but they finally cleaned up and refunded that night for us. While we were disappointed upon arrival, the staff handled it very professionally.BTW: GREAT LOCATION!

The central location and room interior were very nice, but the bed in the room we stayed in was very uncomfortable.

It has a very central location. It is very close to the venues. The room is decorated very pleasantly. We easily checked in to the room.

The bed was uncomfortable, it was digging into the back and foot as if an iron had come out of it. While everything was great, it was very unpleasant that the bed was like this.
