It was a great location. It was surrounded by scenic views and a very serene place

A very comfortable and cosy cottage ;perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cottage was clean, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, homely feel. Everything we needed was available, and the ambience made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time there. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway!

Excellent stay for Family and outstanding atmosphere

Booking Experience – Excellent. Immediately after booking, the villa manager Peter contacted me through WhatsApp and requested a 50% advance payment, which I transferred directly to the owner's account via UPI. I must sincerely appreciate Peter. He was extremely professional, polite, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, about two weeks before my trip, when I contacted him to reconfirm my booking, he informed me that he had left his job and had already moved out of the country. He connected me directly with the owner. Naturally, I was a little worried because I was travelling with elderly parents and children, and from our conversation I understood there wasn't an official replacement manager yet. However, the owner immediately reassured me, confirmed my booking and advance payment, and answered all my questions. Owner Support – Highly Appreciated. About a week before our trip, due to unavoidable personal commitments, I requested the owner if he could change my booking dates from 18–20 July to 19–21 July. Although it was a last-minute request, he managed to accommodate us after checking availability. I genuinely appreciate this gesture. It showed flexibility and excellent customer support. Arrival: On the morning of our arrival, I informed the owner that we would need chapathis and chicken curry for dinner, and he confirmed everything. After stopping at various sightseeing spots on the way, we reached the villa around 5:30 PM. We were welcomed by the caretaker, Mrs. Shenbagam, who lives inside the villa compound with her husband and child. One thing future guests should know is that the main vehicle gate always remains locked, and only the caretaker's family has the key. Whenever you arrive with your vehicle, you'll need to wait until they open the gate for you. Property: The location is undoubtedly the biggest strength of Springdale Villa. The surroundings are peaceful, green and filled with flowers.

Caretaker Experience – The Biggest Weakness This was unfortunately the most disappointing part of our stay. Mrs. Shenbagam appears to be responsible for everything: Guest arrivals, Cooking, Housekeeping, Opening the entrance gate, Solving guest issues & Overall property management. It quickly became obvious that one person cannot effectively manage all these responsibilities alone. Most interactions were limited to one-word replies, and for almost every request we were asked to contact the owner directly. As guests, this became frustrating because the caretaker should ideally be empowered to handle routine guest requests without involving the owner every time. Personally, I don't entirely blame her. She simply appears to be overloaded with responsibilities without sufficient support. Food - Dinner consisted of the pre-ordered chicken curry and chapathis. The food was average. Since we had travelled for several hours and were tired, we didn't complain. Before sleeping, around 7:30 PM, we informed the caretaker that we needed breakfast early because we planned to leave for sightseeing. She confirmed: Tea at 7:30 AM & Breakfast 8:30 AM Breakfast – Very Disappointing. This unfortunately became the biggest issue during our stay. The next morning our entire family woke up around 7:00 AM. By 7:30 AM, everyone had bathed, packed and was ready. There was no tea. No breakfast. No communication. Even at 8:30 AM, nobody had arrived. I contacted the owner, but even he couldn't immediately reach the caretaker. Finally, breakfast was served only around 9:45 AM, almost one and a half hours later than promised. Unfortunately, the breakfast quality was also below expectations. Later, the owner informed us that the caretaker would be on leave from the afternoon of the 19th. After this experience, my family decided not to order any further meals from the villa.
