Clean bed, good aircon and helpful friendly

It was a bit out of the way, they were having a sceptic tank fitted outside the front entrance so a bit messy. But nothing too troublesome. it will all be fixed soon

Lugar próximo al puerto (unos 5-10 min en triciclo o 20min andando), correcto para una noche paso si vas camino a Malapascua. Nos ofrecieron transporte hasta el puerto a nuestra salida (gratuito) y tambien servicio de transfer hasta Cebú aeropuerto a buen precio.

No hay nada alrededor para cenar o comer algo. Si llegas de noche al puerto, no hay ningun taxi que pueda llevarte al hostel. Aire acondicionado muy ruidoso.

just one night and I slept very well. the manager very kind. free transport to the port. una sola notte e ho dormito benissimo. la responsabile molto gentile. trasporto fino al porto gratuito.

We had two stay two nights due to bad weather and we are so happy we did. Bridget the host it's an absolute star, super friendly and engaging, a Maya local that will go above and beyond to help the guests, for instance she took us to the breakfast place, it's only a 10 min walk but she insisted that we didn't need to walk if she was available to bring us there unless we decided to do so to get the local experience, locals by the way are so... so friendly towards tourists in general at Maya. The ATM didn't work, she took us to the next barangai to the one that did no charge! Really she even made us coffe in the morning, couldn't be any happier with her we feel so lucky we found her along our journey. The location it's great next to the market, bakery with fresh out the oven donuts and bread, sari sari shops and the port to go into Malapascua. The shower worked great with good water pressure and warm water! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, toiletries provided, the AC worked like a clock, the balcony was better then tv watching all the locals go about theyr day. The price was amazing for the quality that you actually get but lacks in other places more expensive over in the phillipines. We will certainly be back when traveling that route again. Thanks Bridget for making it so comfortable, pleasant and stress free to stay and travel trough Maya.
