This is a charming little 2 bedroom apartment above some shops. The building was a bit old, but the apartment was in excellent condition. There was lots of space, a well-equipt kitchen and excellent heating. I appreciated the use of the washing machine in the basement, as well. There was parking at the back of the building (the location of this was not communicated at all, but we found it by chance, walking around). There was a supermarket 2 blocks away, and a bakery right next door. The two balconies stretched almost the length of the whole property.

The address of the apartment was not where it said it was on the booking.com listing. This host has about 70 apartments scattered across the town of Oberstdorf and perhaps they mixed up the address on the listing, which did cause some confusion when we arrived and tried to get into various buildings with no luck - the correct address was listed in the information they sent in their message rather than in the official information on the listing so it was a good thing I had digital access to be able to read it. It was still conveniently located and close to the center of town, but it was not close to the address we thought it was. We had to collect the keys from a lockbox behind a different address - again this was all in the message so very important to read anything sent! Also, it would be great if they could leave the wifi password and other rubbish/cleaning/instructions on paper in the apartment rather than having that communicated digitally as we didn't have access to that information through booking.com as it requires a link/login that didn't work and we arrived too late to get it in person.
