Charming Townhome Retreat, close to Manchester

We are a family of 6 2 adults 4 children. We had lots of space for all of us, the house was spacious with 4 bedrooms spread over 3 floors all ensuite.The kids loved the pool table in the conservatory, also the xbox and the large garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The host was very attentive to our needs.

So much space . But cost at the same time x

Nothing it was all lovely

The house is great, very spacious and well decorated. The two suites were excellent for a group of 5 people. However, the cleanliness was poor; the refrigerator and microwave were quite dirty, the bathroom floor was poorly cleaned, towels had brown stains (we had to wash them in the machine to be sure they were clean), the bedroom carpet was poorly vacuumed, there were pieces of fallen wall behind one of the beds, and even a plastic cover. The shower in the bathroom of the two bedrooms was difficult to open and close. More dishes are needed in the kitchen. The beds are extremely soft and you can feel the springs. The heating doesn't seem to be working well; the ground floor was always very cold. The dishwasher sometimes worked, but the dishes weren't clean. The waste separation process is confusing, and on the last day (after a week of using the house) we received a message saying that a £50 fine could be charged if the waste was not separated properly (we only saw the message when we returned to our country; we were on vacation and didn't pay attention to the internet). There should be a clearer and more visible color-coded legend, as the colors are different from those in Europe, and information about the fine should be in the welcome message, not at the end of the stay. The house isn't bad, but it needs better maintenance and more attention to detail.

The greenhouse door (back door) was not locked and we couldn't lock it from the inside. We could only lock it from the outside; otherwise, anyone could have entered the house.
