This unique and tranquil getaway is a 3min walk to a long sandy beach. This new suite has custom made wood furniture a large bathroom & lots of natural light. Toucans, Parrots, sloths & monkeys often cross the property. A sea-turtle sanctuary is nearby. The on-site host can help you book many exciting excursions. A 20 min drive North is Quepos & Manuel Antonio Park. A 15 min drive South is Dominical. A tiny surfer town with fun shops, restaurants & surf lessons.

Fatima lives in a house near the gate of the property. She is available when you need her.

If you enjoy experiencing local culture while still enjoying all the comforts of a modern home then this place is for you! World class surfing, boogie boarding, just relaxing on the beach, bird and wildlife watching, horseback riding, zip lining, delicious local food, Western & European cuisine, unique and popular attractions are at your doorstep. Matapalo is a tiny town, with a few small stores. The beach is pristine, yet to be discovered by most travellers. Close by are the popular tourist destinations of Dominical, a quaint surf town, and Manuel Antonio, an internationally renowned Nature Reserve, known for its diverse wildlife and active restaurant and bar scene. The local restaurants near Matapalo serve delicious food. The nearest "large town" is Quepos, about a 20mn drive away. This is where you will find large supermarkets, pharmacies, clothing stores, hospital, clinic, dentist and so on and an airstrip serviced by Sansa Air to San Jose.

The most convenient is to rent a car. There is local transit but check schedules as may be infrequent. Taxi service can sometimes be available.

Dogs are permitted but we need to know ahead and you must have bedding blanket for the dog to sleep on. If the dog lays on the bed and it can not be cleaned we will charge $100 to replace the bedding.
