About this cottage rental
Stunning sunrises and sunsets are always on vibrant display and yours to experience from our wrap-around deck overlooking Malpeque Bay on the Island's north shore.
Unwind at our beautiful three bedroom, two bath cottage only a few minutes from Thunder Cove Beach on PEI’s north shore.
Expansive windows and panoramic wrap-around deck offer breathtaking views of sunrises & sunsets. This open concept cottage has a family friendly layout and is newly furnished and updated.
The cottage comfortably sleeps six guests.
In the master bedroom you'll find a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a large step-in shower with double shower heads. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and there are two twin size beds in the third bedroom. The two twin beds can also be placed together and used as a king size bed (optional bedding on-site). A play yard / playpen is also provided. The common bathroom includes a bathtub / shower combined. Full size laundry machines in the cottage keep things convenient and efficient during your stay.
A fully equipped kitchen and outdoor propane bbq, indoor and outdoor dining tables and a highchair provide opportunities to bring everyone together at mealtime to recap the days’ events. After dinner it’s time to gather around the fire pit for a campfire while enjoying the colours of the evening sunset.
Additionally, you’ll find games / activities stocked in the cottage to bring everyone together for some fun any time of day, or in the case of a rainy day during your stay.
Walk for hours on the beach, play in the surf and soak in the sun at Thunder Cove Beach, just a short walk from our relaxing retreat. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys and outdoor games are all provided.
For the golfers in the group, Andersons Creek, Green Gables and Eagles Glen are all only a 20-30 minute drive.
The town of Kensington is approximately 15 minutes away for restaurants, groceries, pharmacy, etc and the city of Summerside is approximately 30 minutes drive.
Malpeque oysters/seafood, live music, kayaking, pottery, and restaurants are all at your doorstep when you book Sunset Dream at Thunder Cove for your upcoming Island vacation.

This location allowed us to travel in many directions on a daily basis and no matter how far we ventured out we had this lovely home base to return to. But the very best was to witness the spectacular sunsets on the deck! Simply gorgeous! This home is equipped for everything!

We had a great week here. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. Very peaceful location with a brilliant beach nearby and easy to explore the rest of the island.

This vacation cottage had everything and anything you could imagine you would need and things that you didn’t know you would need. Christina, our hostess stayed in contact with us from prior to our visit throughout our stay. Had we known what she had in the cottage we would not have had to bring most of the household goods that we had packed. I noticed that some people had commented that there was no fire pit, but we had a fire every night in the fire pit that was off the wraparound deck. The cottage was in a perfect location to enjoy all the island has to offer. Can comfortably accommodate six adults. Would love to visit again and would absolutely try to reserve again. Thanks so much for a perfect week.
