One bedroom apartment with Patio n2

Well placed, walking distance from the centre and on a bus route, interesting apartment in a grand old building. We were a few minutes late for check in, but our host thankfully didn't fine us as was written in the message we received after having booked. Nicely appointed in terms of interesting books and furniture. Lots of potential to be a really great place, however...

Lots of pots and pans but strange sizes and without lids that fitted, and some stuff like a sodastream and some other things that didn't work. The plate drying rack drained straight onto the wooden worktop which had been destroyed by the moisture, which is bad design compounded by bad management. So many coathangers in the wardrobe there was no room for clothes. Clothes drying rack was out in the patio, too dirty and rusty to use. It seemed as though all the castoffs from their own home had been put here. Also there was a note in the guidance that we should put out the rubbish at the end of our stay. I tried my best but Florence has a system for using the bins whereby you have to download the app and create an account, which I tried and failed to do on the morning of departure with a train to catch; don't put your guest through this, that is the hosts job. Although the high price is par for the course in a city like Florence it left a bad taste.
